I've been testing the SD870 for kite and pole aerial photography. It performs well, but defaults too often to f/8, which results in shutter speeds too slow, which leads to too large a proportion of images with motion blur. I need to be able to set the nd filter out, f/2.8, to achieve high enough shutter speeds for this application.
