computer only shows 16MB partition of SD card

hey all,
I managed to partition and format my 8GB SD with wicks, chdk works on the S5IS and my intervalometer script does too. when i take pics i can see them on the camera, when i plug the sd into the computer it only pulls up a 16MB card (!) no pics. I found a work around (by the way the partitions are formatted FAT16 i believe) by using WICKS, switch partition, unplug and replug card and voila totally different card shows up with PHOTOS folder (I named it so when partitioning) and the pics. Now that's a pain in the neck.
Why can't i see both partitions of the SD card on the computer? the camera clearly knows it as it boots the program and saves pics correctly...
any help is appreciated!

If you are using Windows,  you will have to talk to Microsoft about this.  As far as they are concerned,  SD cards can only have one partition.
