I think if you and c_joerg have used this port extensively without problems, we can take the alpha/beta labels off.

Haven't used it extensively, did not check video. But all the basics seem to function.
What I found was that CHDK has a superfine setting that I thought was only there if the cam did not support it, but that is a non issue.

although it is recognised by stick as 102B and sits in the right serial range (4 at position 6) to update
That’s interesting. I have a 8 at position 6 and I’m really sure I made the update…
Looks like that the hardware is a little bit different.

I use the S110 very often, but only a part of the functions. I would take alpha/beta labels off.

Thanks. Removed. Can you check what free memory is on this camera? misc->show memory info, free memory value.

1131720 Bytes / CHDK 144072 Bytes => 103a
CHDK Revision 5249

free memory 1407840
Which CHDK Revision do you use?

Free memory can depending on settings what was done between booting and checking the screen, so I don't think the difference between your results is unusual.

I wanted to know the free memory because the port notes.txt mentioned exmem wasn't implemented.  ~1 MB is plenty by CHDK standards, so this port is fine without.

I came across some odd behaviour that has to do with large and thus slow fat32 cards.
it does not create a fault in working as far as I can tell, but I thought I mention it anyway.

when a large (256GB) card is used in card lock method i have to press the on/off button for at least 3 seconds to make the lens come out instead of ending up in play mode, while normally that takes <1 sec with this model.
also it takes some 5 seconds before the camera responds with a blinking led to the pressing of the on/off button and starts up.
and then the chdk splash screen is blank white and only gets red just before it dissapears.
