I dumped the firmware of SX280 102d.
Thanks. I could only access the first link (DUMPC.BIN). DUMPC.BIN is clearly a product of an unofficial old script. Did the official dumper not work for you?

I want to port 102c code to working on my SX280 102d.
What should i do next step?
As it currently looks, a new port will not be needed. I see a small change around the GPS support routines, but code before and after that seems to be compatible with 102c.

I installed the SX280 102c CHDK to my SD card with stick tool.  After plug in the SD card, I pushed play button to start my camera SX280 102d. It is just blinking the green led. The screen is black. Can you tell what's the matter, what should I do to make CHDK work on my camera?

I already have (right above your first post):
( in the hope that 102c might work on my 102d )

On power-up, the SD card activity LED flashes constantly, and that's it - nothing else occurs.
To clarify things, the prealphas only run on the appropriate firmware version. They will blink the LED forever on other fw revisions and crash/go to infinite loop on other models.
Try installing the new 102c build and report whether it works.

Thanks for the proper dump!

Prealpha 8
- the set_zoom script command should cause less crashes from now on
- the 102c build is now allowed to run on 102d cameras

Thx for confirming.

Yeah, that one is not solved yet.
You can choose a bigger RBF font for the menu in CHDK Settings -> Menu Settings -> Language & Fonts. You can also enlarge the on-screen info boxes (time, battery, etc.) with CHDK Settings -> OSD Layout Editor (use the zoom lever while editing).

I installed sx280hs-102c-102d-prealpha8_1.3.0-3449-full on SX280HS 102c and it has been working for a couple days. Then I added one more script for intervalometer and CHDK does not launch anymore. I can see CHDK logo when power up  but after this the camera just goes black. If I unlock SD the camera works. I removed the new script, but the outcome is the same.  I reinstalled CHDK with Stick, no success. Is it possible SD got corrupted, the camera doesn't complain?

Thank you,

That's always possible.  Reinstall and see what happens?

CHDK does not launch anymore. I can see CHDK logo when power up  but after this the camera just goes black.
Try a new install on a freshly formatted card.
Before you do that, please make a copy of the *.cfg files you find in the CHDK directory of the non-working card.
Start CHDK, go to the menu and click Miscellaneous -> Debug Parameters -> Save ROM crash log . You'll find a file named ROMLOG.LOG in the root of the card. Upload the CFG files and the log here (zipped).
What's the size of the "bad" card and approximately how many pictures/videos are stored on it?

It is 8GB SD and I had zero images there. I was trying to make any intervalometer to work stably  and deleted all test images regularly.
So, I formatted the SD again and install CHDK fresh. It fixed the issue. If I have the same problem again I'll collect all the debugging info.

Thank you.
