2.   Uploaded some shot’s to my Dropbox.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dgco2i353ggbyro/AAD5R-dDUqKAoW29__qyC4Pfa?dl=0
I’ve tried to shoot in every possible set up. And yes the script is correctly showing when RAW mode is not supported but sometimes failing to store RAW while other settings active. Sometimes the image is garbage.
That's a lot of pictures!
Could you please reduce the amount of data I need to look at?
I mean, please only upload images that show a problem (JPEG is enough if either the JPEG or DNG is corrupt).
- did you have DNG switched on for all images?
- did you manage to shoot DNG in AUTO mode (image 5032 for example)?
If you could find modes that don't store dng consistently, that would help. The hooktest script might be enough for testing this (but it can't test raw corruption).

I was going to upload a test build, but ran out of time, it would be great if you could be around for testing when I finally get it done (I'll need a tester with a 102c/102d camera).

3.   Yesterday I’ve managed to create badpixel.bin with about 466byte size. Today the process either failed or written a 0byte file to the SD.
I have never managed to create a badpixel.bin on this camera. But I don't think I've ever seen those marked (aka "bad") pixels on any of my raw files.

The only change since yesterday – I am aware of – is the DISKBOOT.BIN file. I am using now the one included in the distributed zip package. I can’t remember which one I had before.
You should extract all files from the zip to your card when upgrading - modules and additional files need to be upgraded too.

However, I'd say wait with further testing until I'll upload the new test build.

Hell, yes there have to be a lot of pictures to test if every mode is working.
And yes DNG save was switched on all the time.

I'm not available this weekend. Going canoeing with family. Maybe Sunday evening first. But after that I'll try to be ready for testing.

Sorry, could not wait, created a new series of pictures, this time with an enclosed excel sheet for better understanding.

No problem, it can wait.

That looks much better, thanks.

New test release, let's call it prealpha 10. The release still supports all models (sx270, 275, 280).

Changes:
- raw hook moved to another task, not yet tested on 102c/102d
This might fix some DNG/JPEG corruption issues and file numbering problems.
- more raw exceptions are added, RAW/DNG should now be disabled in the following modes:
  - AUTO
  - Handheld night scene
  - HQ burst
  - Sports
  - Hybrid auto
I highly recommend using P, Av, Tv, M modes when shooting RAW.
- a bug has been fixed that potentially allowed corruption of the CHDK core
The ubtest issue I mentioned earlier no longer shows up on my camera.

I need feedback from 102c/102d users (does this release work?).

Had some work to do this week so excuse me for being late. I've tested the new build and it's working as expected.
So thank you for your work.

I've tested the new build and it's working as expected.
Thanks for confirming, I'll adjust the "most recent build" link in the first post.

Here's one, hope it's enough. Not sure how representative my camera is.

You probably know that this model has this problem (mine is not that bad, I only get the low battery icon when zooming fast in video mode). The severity of this issue varies from camera to camera.

You should know that Canon has acknowledged the problem and offers free repairs for a certain time period. Try checking whether this offer is valid in your country.
