Long exposure (1.3-15 seconds) with a high override ISO seems to crash the camera.

Can you tell me how to reproduce? Camera mode and settings, relevant CHDK settings. Is your cam 102b or 102c? You can get a romlog too: "miscellaneous stuff" -> "debug parameters" -> "save rom crash log", especially if your cam is 102c.

I shot some pictures earlier with ISO400, 32 sec exposure time (M mode), just tried ISO3200 in Tv mode (4s ... 15s exposures), no problems.

Prealpha 5 have more crash than prealpha 4

Can i (we) tell tell the problems in german :( my english is not so good and Google translate....

Wie können wir Anfänger helfen ohne progammier Kenntnisse
 ZB Datei x über prüfen auf Fehler oder ahnliches und melden

Wenn die Kamera abstürzt oder CHDK irgendetwas falsch macht,
brauche ich eine genaue Beschreibung, wie ich den Fehler reproduzieren kann.
Die folgende Daten sind notwendig:
- Firmware-Version der Kamera
- CHDK-Version (welche prealpha)

If the camera crashes or CHDK misbehaves, I need to be able to reproduce the problem.
The report should include:
- camera firmware version
- which CHDK (prealpha) release
- a ROMLOG (if the camera crashed) ("miscellaneous stuff" -> "debug parameters" -> "save rom crash log")
- relevant camera settings (Canon menu and shooting menu, recording mode)
- CHDK settings which cause trouble
- etc.

It happens when you don't override the exposure with CHDK and instead use the one with the dialer on the  bottom of the display. Seems like this doesn't happen when using CHDK exposure override so basically the problems solved. Using 102c.

While I was recording a video then pressed <ALT> and started any script, All buttons stop working.
