After a few photos when i use the motion script freeze the camera i must take out the battery and when blinks the battery icon is same blink the chdk menu.

Frame buffer related CHDK features do not currently work. That includes motion detection, edge overlay, zebra, histogram, PTP live view, autoiso(?).

Yes, the battery warning icon has a bad influence on display - there's no solution for this currently.

i just wanna ask one question expecting it's the right thread: will there be a porting for sx700 hs in a couple of weeks or when this porting ok? Another thing is i wanted to help in porting but i'm a newbie in programming (pursing master degree) where can i begin?

i've already read this page but i found another page giving me better answers: the "for developers" page. I'll try to find time to read all this literature. But at this time is there another developer motivated to code with me?

If you are looking for ongoing help, the CHDK IRC channel is a good place to start.  You will have the best luck finding people there in the evenings ( USA time ).

You need to google "internet relay chat" or "IRC".  There are hundred of IRC clients out there, including the one you quoted and this one from the CHDK wiki page :  http://webchat.freenode.net/

I'm not going to try and explain IRC here other than to say the #CHDK channel is on the freenode.net IRC network.   The best time to find anyone there is usually late evening USA time.

Should the reboot feature work?
I have a sx280 102b, using the alpha 6 version of CHDK.  I am running the ultimate intervelometer.
When it executes the reboot() command to restart the camera after a set number of days, the camera just shuts down.  It never wakes up again.
Is the reboot supposed to work on the sx280?
If it is, what should I be investigating to allow it to wake up?
