Here's a patch for sx280 102b that uses the finsig_thumb2 values for all mismatched stubs.

I think these are all differences in veneers, but if someone can check on the actual camera, that would help verify that the sigfinder matches are good.

I confirmed all stubs in question by checking the disassembly, the resulting diskboot is working correctly of course.

Thanks  :) I checked it in.

One might wonder why, since it already worked? Using the sig finder values makes it easier for me to check other ports, since I can do capdis -s=<name> and visually compare the code. It also saves anyone looking at it later from needing to spend time figuring out if the differences are significant.

Does GetDrive_TotalClusters on sx280 return the correct value? On g7x, what looks like the equivalent function returns the same value as GetDrive_FreeClusters. The function just before GetDrive_FreeClusters in ROM appears to be GetDrive_TotalClusters.

sub_fc2a4b67 does appear to return the correct cluster count, so it's likely the real GetDrive_TotalClusters...

New, CHDK 1.5 based builds. The port itself has not changed significantly aside from a minor bugfix (free card space percentage was incorrect).

edit: builds updated to r4515 due to an important bugfix

Hello,


a few days ago I asked about if the USB remote control workswith this model - exited about the positive response I bought one SX270 on ebay - and got it today - unfortunately it has firmware 1.01b not 1.02x - and I cannot find a CHDK verson for 1.01b - did I miss something? Or can someone do porting for this firmware version too? I could surely do some beta tests if necessary.
