Hi Matt,
"Convoluted" is an apt desription of chdk raw processing.
Can you tell me how this calibration of a new model works. I am interested in TX1 raws.
I have Lightroom1 and it can produce a good output from the DNG conversions but I can't see a program that makes accurate sense of CRW files. I tried Raw Therapee and the shots in low light were not useable. I also have trouble with Raw Therapee in my computer where it is very unstable and I don't understand the way it views folios. I can only view pictures if I use "open with  - " commands.

The beauty of using raw in programs like Lightroom and Picasa is they do not distructive edits on the raw file and save a lot of space and messing around.

Hi Stan,

I'm trying to use DNG4PS2 for converting CHDK produced CRW files to DNG.  Its done an OK job using another camera's color profile so I'm confident it will be my option of choice once the 860's color settings are added.

This thread outlines how to submit test photos so new color matricies can be added to the program.  Mine are currently in the queue to be processed, and you should check whether your camera model is included or you need to take the test photos yourself.

Thanks,
Matt
