Here you go - try this : a2500-100a-1.3.0-3492-full.zip

is it the customized version of CHDK for a2500, can I get the customized one at https://www.assembla.com/spaces/chdkptp/documents

This are two different things

I will send  you detailed explanation later today when I get to office

1. CHDKptp is different app than chdk ptp (other ptp application). I am using chdk ptp

a2500-100a-1.3.0-3492-full.zip
is custom FW build installed on canon A2500 camera which support USB REMOTE (remote shooting via usb port) plus communication with the camera .

I believe it helpful to read about USB REMOTE , and understand the limitation (connecting to camera when USB REMOTE enabled)

Okay, I'm trying to make 3d scan for human. For now I use a2500 too. I have 25 pieces of a2500 camera
I've been following this thread, but there are some things that I dont understand about the triggering.
do I have to use 3 wire cables for dummy battery? can I use only 2 wire cables?
I see SVD relay in your picture, can I use the system without it?

There are few ways for remote shooting
Option 1- via 3rd terminal pin in lipo battery ( there is good thread on this subject )
Option 2-  USB remote  5v drop

For more option check waterwings new wiki page or read again my post on this thread

I am using option 2 but I left me option to future use option 1 by preparing  3pin dummy battery

It isn't mandatory to use relay , just need away to control on 5v for taking the shoot

I am interested to try the option 2, is it running without the 3rd pin battery?

is it use the custom FW build installed on canon A2500 camera?

could you please upload the file again?

I have been following this thread for some time ..

Can the file a2500-100a-1.3.0-3492-full.zip  be included in the chdk download site instead of other shared space?

At some point in the next week or two, I'll release a patch to add those changes (with script support) to the autobuild so that the features can be enabled for any camera.

In the meantime, I can provide custom builds for anyone who just can't wait that long.

Edit: the existing patch makes the camera unusable for normal photography while it is loaded. So adding it to the autobuild "as is" is not an option.
