How to copy scripts to the memory card?

Hello all,
as a newbie I tried first to do my homework by seqarching the wiki and the forum, but I haven't found instructions that address my question.

I have CHDK on the card, but I don't see a meaningful directory structure there, and nothing like a chdk\scripts directory. The CHDK works fine and I'm at the point where I want to experiment with scripts.

I am using the Windows 8 Explorer with the (unlocked) card in a card reader, or in the camera (linked via USB). Neither shows the structure which I can see when looking through the CHDK on the camera (Canon G10).

Could someone please point me in the right direction, and apologies for my ignorance.

Thanks,
Steinspecht

I assume you probably used STICK to do the CHDK installation for you? And that you have a card larger than 4G ? Which means that for a G10 you now have a dual partition card! Your current issue is that Windows does not recognize that SD cards might have dual partitions.  The CHDK wikia page on configuring your SD card explains several ways to handle this. The WASP utility is probably the easiest solution on PC but it's also possible to do with the camera alone.  Sorry, I'm traveling now and can't post links. If you are still stuck later I can do so.

Thanks for the clear reply.

You're correct with your  assumptions: STICK to install CHDK on a 8GB card, hence two partitions. Didn't think of that.

I'll try out WASP and I'll report.

Cheers,

p.s. it WORKS, good stuff. Thanks again.
