You should understand that the value of these cameras is something like 1 hour or less of a professional programmers time, and a port is likely to take 10-20x more than that to do, assuming it's an "easy" port where the camera is similar to existing models and the developer is already familiar with CHDK.

I'm not saying that no one will help you, but you should understand if they do they are volunteering a significant effort.

Yes, it's clear that support for new camera model won't come easy. We are ready to support development work as much as we can. For example testing and bug reporting is something that we can do.
