Would be interested to learn what Windows DNG Conversion Software others are using for their CHDK DNG photos.

Reason am now using FastStone IV for JPGs and like it but when tried CHDK DNGs it was unable to open.

CHDK DNG's are supposed to be compatible with the Adobe DNG standard. FastStone has had DNG capability since 2005 (according to their website).

What camera & version of CHDK ? Were you using DNG 1.1 or 1.3 ?

It is a friend's camera so do not have access the specific CHDK build info at this time but will give you what I remember.

The camera is a ELPH115IS with CHDK 1.3.0 ALPHA (was dl Mar 2014) which has DNG 1.3.

If you want I can get the exact build info and a DNG photo so you can test it with FastStone.

I'd suggest he start with the latest release before you spend any time on this.

Update

A friend tried the original ELPH115IS CHDK DNGs on RawTherapee and everything worked.

He then opened my FastStone IV RAW preferences and changed it to slower original size and it also worked.
