Now we're either there or almost there.

- power button works
- TV Override 00:01:31 works
(by chance I noticed it doesn't work after full press of shutter button without waiting for AF. I didn't check for this on any of the other cameras we worked on before. This time I was just too trigger happy. Getting the focus first it works.)

- DNG on half press: works
- DNG on full press: works
- videos can be shot and quality 5 and 70 produce significantly different file size video.
- chdkptp can be connected, JPEG and DNGS can be shot.

Please test this version. If it works, we can use the same workaround on ixus860, I think that it should be affected too.

SD870 confirmed to work upon TV override 00:01:31 with full shutter press without waiting for AF.

Unless something else crops up related to the power button failures I think we can close this book.

Like I hinted at I am reasonably sure I notice this in one of the 30 cameras I obtained and parted from before ever becoming active on this forum. I think I even singled out which I thought might be it but I can't recall anymore if that's true. You might look them up on page 1 of the thread but sadly I can't test those.
