SX20 100f Test version:
- Simpler loader code
- boot.c rewritten using code_gen  (power up button detection and JogDial_task_my modified)

I tested your build, thanks for posting it.

The power on button is working just fine now.

If "Jogdial task" means that you can use the jog dial to navigate on CHDK menus that also works.
I didn't compare with the previous version so I'm not sure if it worked before.

Thanks for testing it. Changes included in trunk Changeset 3506.

This camera seems to have low memory. Then in attachment a test version where CHDK is loaded in ARAM. Could you test it and report? Thanks

Your attachment is for FW 1.02D while I have FW 1.00F
Please attach the build for my FW and I'll test it.

I updated the original post on page 1 as I found that IXUS 75 with FW 1.01B has the same power button problem.

The same applies to A550 with FW 1.00C
And to IXUS 970 IS with FW 1.00D

No problem. Thanks for the update. I tested your build and it worked just fine. It boots on power button, I set CHDK up to shoot a DNG, took a shot and that worked. So if you'd like anything specific tried beyond that let me know.

Could you test if zebra works with sx20?

I created a new version for ixus860/sd870,  boot.c, capt_seq.c, movie_rec.c are created using code_gen. There are a lot of changes, then a full test is required. Please start testing if power up button works and if CHDK loads without problems. After that, please run tests as described here: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Testing

I tested it and think it does not work.

I set exposure compensation to +2.

Then I set:

Draw Zebra: On
Mode: Zebra 1 (also tried Solid)
Thresholds: 0, 1
Draw Over Zebra: Nothing

I didn't see anything that resembles a zebra. Just plain white areas when pointed towards a lamp.
