Shooting with an IXUS 60 (FW: 100A) and the latest CHDK 1.2 I found another problem: The camera won't shoot DNGs. It will shoot plain CRW RAW but if the DNG option is activated there won't be a raw file. No matter if RAW in folder with JPEG or RAW in its own folder is chosen.

Koshy had a little ELPH which wasn't white as snow but everywhere that Koshy went the ELPH was sure to go. (actually an SD, but that detail ruins the rhyme...)

How much free memory is there? It might not be able to allocate enough memory to build the DNG header and thumbnail.

Also check that the DNG module is getting loaded after you enable DNG and try and save a file (Misc Stuff --> Modules --> Module Inspector).

It didn't but it was my mistake of some nature. It was not there.
I must have transferred CHDK incompletely onto the memory card.
I extracted the archive anew onto the card and it worked just fine.

Now that I have established this I can tell that it does not write DNGs when pressing the shutter button in one go but I'll add that fact to my other thread dealing with that situation.
