Happily started to test. Finally found that LongExp is missing on the menu. So no ETR yet.

Anyway:

- Video Quality 5 and 70 produce distinctly different file size for 5 sec rec as expected
-  Full and Half shutter press create DNGs
- USB remote works

Do I check CHDKPTP shooting JPEG and DNG with the next build?

Excellent. Thank you.

I took great care to test Movie functions again. The freezing (which was very evident and immediate before) is gone. I recorded videos at quality 5 and 70 and they were fine in terms of size and could be played.

I tested the 00:01:31 ETR and that worked fine, too

Finally I tested CHDKPTP and remote shooting of JPEG and DNG, looked at its liveview and UI overlay and all was fine with those.

So A720 can be crossed off our list. That leaves G7 and I800 with the bug they shared  :)

EDIT: forgot that we're also still working on I960...

Did you get a chance to revisit the G7 and IXUS 800 yet?
That and IXUS 960 would complete our ETR work.

Thanks. It is as before. DNG at full shutter press without waiting for AF works, USB remote works. 00:01:31 ETR works after half shutter and proper AF but fails after  full shutter press without waiting for AF. In that case the camera takes a photo and a DNG for it gets written but no 91 sec exposure. So the override fails in that situation.

 :blink: I have not found the bug, camera does not crash, then I'm tempted to post the patch as it is, and add bug description to notes.txt.
I can try again with ixus800 and ixus960, if it does not work, I think that I'll apply the patch with a similar note.

Apart from the quick full press with ETR everything works so yes it'll be more than it was before.
