Thank you. If you have the as test builds that's quicker. If you don't patch file is fine.

- power button to turn IXUS 960 on works
- TV Override 00:01:31 works (with full shutter, too)
- DNG on half press: works
- DNG on full press: works
- videos can be shot and quality 5 and 70 work
- chdkptp can be connected, JPEG / DNG remote shoot work
- chdkptp live view and UI overlay work
- chdkptp rec mode / remote shoot JPEG / play mode / rec mode works
- in continuous drive mode with "rs -jpg -cont=5" that works, too
- USB remote: works

A long list... But you're there it all worked.

With proper AF after half shutter press yes. With full shutter press and not waiting for AF no.

G7 and IXUS 800 shared the same bug (ETR worked unless the shutter button was fully pressed without waiting for AF).

Shall I retest the old IXUS 800 version and should that also be commited like the G7 or do you plan to produce a another version for the IXUS 800 to test before we take that route?

Done, 00:01:31 worked fine. Both with full shutter without AF and with half shutter

Yes, that works. 7 full and half presses => 7 DNGs

That is the final one. Can you do the same as you did with ETR and full shutter here on the G7? Or was it not the same issue after all. I thought I recalled that you said at some point that they shared the same problem.

After committing I800 don't forget to update the camera table :D

The patch used on ixus800 is similar to the patch used on G7 but it did not work. Another alternative is the existence of a bug in G7 patch, but I have not discovered it.
