I saw you commited the IXUS 860 changes.

Here is what's open:

- doing the same you did on IXUS 860 for IXUS 960 (previous test version failed)
- Continuing with ixus800 and g7 (both had the same bug related to short shutter press)
- Not worked on yet: A720 100C, A1000 1000B

Not committed yet:

- IXUS 900
- IXUS 980
- IXUS 50 USB fix
- IXUS 700 USB fix

I hope that's all, this got a little confusing eventually.

- IXUS 50 USB fix /  IXUS 700 USB fix -> 3569
- ixus900_sd900  --> Changeset 3570
- ixus980_sd990  --> Changeset Changeset 3571

A720 should be tested with care. Long time exposure is implemented, but it was disabled. See this thread.

There is a small issue. I think , the platform sub parts of the ixus 980 need the filewrite.c. The autobuild will not run.

O.k. can you provide a version with it switched back on? I'd like to see if I can reproduce the video mode bug from that thread. Also are there cameras that closely enough related that I should also evaluate for the same bug after finding it? The cameras to also chack can be others than the 30 on this thread's list, too...

I temporarily disabled filewrite for this cam in the trunk, hopefully that will fix the autobuild.

@koshy, please use patch in attachment to enable long time exposure for a720.

boot.c, capt_seq.c and movie_rec.c were rewritten, please test movie functions too. Thanks.

The only thing I can report to be working in this version is the USB remote.

- no DNG or RAW capture at all
- no ETR
- no effect of movie quality settings
