Hi,
(sorry for my bad english)
I bought a Canon ixus 240 hs after seeing that there was the possibility of shooting timelapse with chdk.
I thought it would be easy (such as magic lantern), but is about 24 hours that I try, but nothing... I can't understand what I have to do. And I'm leaving for holidays tomorrow
The biggest problem is that with the touch screen I don't understand in which way I can get the access to the chdk menu.
But let's start from the beginning... I'm going to explain the steps that I've followed:
- I downloaded Stick. I uploaded my photo and it recognized the camera 240 hs and the firmware version 101a, but it says "No official build is available for this camera". Why?
- I've seen that on the "download page" is available the chdk firmware version for my 101a; than I downoloaded it.
- I've extracted all the files on my formatted sd card (4GB) and I put the sd card in the camera.
- Turned on the camera with the play button and I've done the firmware update.
- It appears a screen of chdk with a "success message", but the camera goes off. And when I turn it on, nothing is different. The chdk doesn't work.
I tried to touch the DISP key, but the chdk menu doesn't appear.
PLEASE HELP MEEEE!
