I've loved my powershot a1100is, first blinked out the 1.00c firmware back in 2009. It's getting older and I'm looking for something very like it.

Is there a Canon camera with the specs I want? (I'll probably port CHDK to it if it's not already supported)
  • 2xAA batteries
  • 14MP
  • 1280x720 30fps
  • 4x optical zoom
  • pocket-sized

I've spent a few hours now googling and hitting buttons on amazon and I can't seem to find one. There are lots that come close -- typically they do 25fps video and have a lithium battery.

I guess I should admit to myself that it doesn't exist?

Wow, I noticed dpreview.com mentioned a few times but I should have looked closer. That camera feature search is exactly what I needed.

The SX160 IS might even do 30fps. :)
