Just for fun, I decided to build a 24-camera portable rig, eight cameras per tripod.

A single 6V 12AH battery powers each group directly without using voltage regulators.

Attached images just show work in progress after checking photos could be captured without dropping battery voltage to too low a level.

Neater USB wiring to be added and minute adjustment made to one of mortice-and-tenon joints to eliminate sag.

The rig is very inexpensively made with plywood pieces glued together.

Not sure what I will use it for  :)
