"Subj. Dist. Bracket Val." option does not show up as a menu option

I have a PowerShot SD750 that I am trying to do DOF bracketing with.  When I go into the "Bracketing in Continuous Mode" menu I do not see the option available.  Every screenshot I've seen online has it, but in mine it is just missing.

I upgraded CHDK to the latest build of 1.2.0 and that didn't seem to help.  Is it possible that my camera just does not support this feature so it is not listed?  I have searched Google and this forum all day, and while I haven't seen anything to suggest that may be the issue the search terms are very generic and I've read a lot of stuff that is of no importance to my situation, so it's possible I could have skimmed over something or just not come across the right page at all (on the plus side, my understanding of some of the more esoteric features of CHDK has blossomed today!)

The CHDK menu is changing (more or less) as development continues. Take a look at the CHDK 1.2 manual. In case subject distance override is not working properly, try again with CHDK 1.3.

Looking at the source file (gui.c) that has the "Bracketing in Continuous Mode" menu structure,  it's clear that it's not possible to disable the "Subj. Dist. Bracket Val." menu item.  Can you take a screen shot of that menu (use a mobile phone camera if necessary) and post it here?

Okay - I see it now.  Prior to 1.3.0,  that menu item was removed if the camera was not configured to allow Subject Distance overrides.   The ixus75_sd750 was one of the cameras not setup to allow SD overrides

In 1.3.0 the whole SD override has been reworked.  It's still far from perfect, but at least that menu item should be there for your camera.   If you are using STICK,  then select the 1.3 development branch ( also know as "unstable" even though it's very stable).  Otherwise download it here : http://mighty-hoernsche.de/trunk/

Upgrading to 1.3 brought up the menu selection!  Time to do some testing to see if it actually works.....thank you WaterWingz and srsa_4c both!

I should probably have checked this right away.  The ixus75_sd750 is one of the camera that was not tested during the 1.3.0 SD override upgrade reported here : http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=11078.0

However,  it was later test by koshy and reported on here : http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=11078.msg115550#msg115550

It seems that particular camera does not respond to any of the various known methods of setting focus manually so you are not going to be able to do subject distance backeting.  Sorry for not just looking at that right away.

Should you find out it actually works, please report back here ?  I don't think it will but strange things sometimes happen with CHDK.
