SX40HS CHDK choice?

Hello all,
I am new in this field and there is something not clear to me. When I did the "ver.req and the vers.req I got the followings for my SX40 HS camera:

PID3238
Ver GM 1.00 (1.0.0.0)
Adj ver. 010.008
I'm a bit confuse about which version I must download on the stable CHDK list for the SX40 Hs

By far the simplest way to download and install CHDK is to use my STICK app. Runs under OSX, Windows and Linux. See http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/stick/stick.html

Both STICK and my ACID app will tell you what firmware version your camera has - the ver.rq/vers.rew method is much harder and trickier to get right (and pretty obsolete now)
