S100 - Maximum shutter speed (Tv)?

I've spent some time searching but to no avail; does anyone know the fastest shutter speed (Tv) the S100 is mechanically capable of supporting with a CHDK override?

I don't think I've seen it posted.  Probably needs somebody to test by taking a sequence of actual images at increasing speeds  and comparing the resulting images.

Fair enough :)

I just did a (fairly subjective) test, to me it looked as though the exposure changed consistently up to 1/16,000th of a second; although 1/32,000th was slightly darker then 1/16,000th, it didn't look a full stop darker, so maybe the shutter couldn't quite keep up...

To be conservative, with my S100, I'm going to use a maximum shutter speed of 1/10,000th.

Cheers,
AndyC

1/1000 is very conservative!  Or did you mean to say 1/10000 ?
