hi everyone, and thanks for your contribution !

I have a IXUS125HS (ELPH110)

and I've DL the firmware ixus125_elph110hs-100d-1.2.0-3297-full_ALPHA
according to the infos I've received from the camera.

I've managed to Load the CHDK, and everything was working fine, I could even run the timelapse scripts.

that was 8 months ago….

since them, I've formatted the SD card because I ran out for memory cards for my other camera.

what a mistake.

for some reasons I ignore, I've tried to prepare re-do all the set-up, unsuccessfuly !

I'm truly dumb, or my souvenirs are bad.

Mac User, using SDMInst Application to prepare the card.

I understand better French than English, but I'll do my very best to follow your advices,

my memory cards are 8 and 16 Gb SDHC, class 10 or class 4.
and I know how to lock them…

Don't use SDMInst (which I wrote a long time ago), ue my STICK app instead. See http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/stick/stick.html

Please provide a detailed list of exactly the steps you have taken and what happened at each step.

I've manage to prepare the card with this script.

and I could mount CHDK on the camera.

it's all in German, can you help me put it in French ? thanks.

so simple and I would never guess it right without you !

I've manage to DL the English version, I am now fully operational,

let me know if there is a French version in case,

if not I'll manage with the English version.

You can switch to French by going into ALT mode
   press Menu to bring up the main CHDK menu then select
      CHDK Settings
          Menu Settings
              Language and Fonts
                  Language

and then select the French language file
