We no longer have much of a problem with spammers. Instead we have an annoying "Captcha" for the first few times a newbie posts.

Seems like a fair trade-off to me.

Thanks waterwingz,

I realized it's the ISO overide I use as the powershot cameras do the greater than 1 sec exposure OK but change the ISO from whatever to about 80; very annoying
