:) :) :)Good job. Everything works perfect. Well many things need more testing(CHDK has so many functions), but so far so good.
I just can't make USB remote to work. Is it working at all?
My TX1 is 100g firmware.

Does set_zoom work in a script and can you do focus bracketing ?

It is on SDM, but that is a quite different build.

The ZoomShoot script runs but doesn't zoom (written for A & S series).
Which script do you want me to try?

DOF stacker script also crashes camera.

Can a script be written specifically for the TX-1 to make it take shots at user-defined zoom steps?
How about for focusing in steps?
I'm running the 101b on mine, and it certainly makes the camera 4 times what it was when I got it (and it was great even in it's limited ability!).
But if I could use focus bracketing and zoom bracketing on it, it would be about as good as it could ever get, I think. I bought it last year because of it's compact size and 10 x zoom.
Whoa-Hey! Careful where you point that thing. You're gonna shoot someone!

I hate to be a pain, but can anyone at least tell me who I could contact that might be able to answer this?
(I've searched and asked three times. ;) )

'Phantom'  is a programmer and TX1 owner, he may be able to help.

I have not seen him here for a while.

Thanks, Microfunguy.

I messaged Phantom. He was last here in mid April, according to his profile.

Is this something that will likely be resolved, or is it a probability that the TX-1 simply won't be able to do focus priority?

-My sort of uneducated guess is that the auto-focus has to be shut off before it can work.

OH BOY-

I BELIEVE just got it working!!!

First, the Focus Lock must be set. This turns off the camera's propensity to auto focus based on contrast when the shutter is half-pressed.
I will post further findings...

Yes-Yes!  :) :D :lol :P

It works!
Works great in Super Macro mode, too.
With the camera on a tripod, in SM mode, pointing out a window as a light source, with my index finger held against the barrel extended outward, and the focus locked onto the closest part of my finger, focus bracketing set to "+" and increment set to 1mm, over the course of a few dozen shots in continuous mode the progression of focus from the hairs on my knuckle all the way to the print on the tip is ASTOUNDING!

THIS is truly something I could never do without CHDK!

I just got promoted and was transferred to the Naval Academy so I've been away from home for 3 weeks... Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance but it seems everything was sorted out :) I can't wait to start using the complete version of chdk on my TX1 :)

Excellent !

I guess I had better add a note to the SDM documentation.

That just leaves script control of the zoom.
