I started with a User Manual for the autobuild. Find it attached for your review.  ::)

What do you think? :-[
Is too detailed? or to superficial? ;)
Let me know your opinions.

Now I have it almost complete, 80Kb. Just need some help to describe better the following features:

- DNG Format (for the coming soon new trunk)
- RAW buffer cached (new feature added together with the obove described)
- Remote Parameters (and its sub-menu)

Maybe is a good Idea to divide this CHDK User Manual in parts, like:RAW.txt, Zebra.txt, OSD.txt.... in order to have smallest books more readable.

I have to say that I didn't create any of the text, just I copied and pasted from the wiki and the forum, and mostly from http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK/End-Users-Guide-AllBest50, credit to Graystar.

This is what I have already done.

i guess it is the language barrier, but most of your posts dont sound too friendly/polite, especially considering your post count.
also: i dont even understand what you are trying to say here.

You'll see it everywhere on the official download page(s), also SDM uses a different naming & versioning method...

You can find all about the SDM on SDM Homepage, this is also the official download place for all SDM related files.

The official DL page for the CHDK is here.

...so IMHO the current naming is completely adequate, no need to change anything...

:-[ ...huh?! You mean you're allowed to be less friendly & polite as your post count increases?

-Ohhhhh. This explains quite a bit.  :D
Whoa-Hey! Careful where you point that thing. You're gonna shoot someone!

what's this offtopic post supposed to mean?
dont just talk the talk - walk the walk. tell me what you mean by "this explains quite a bit".
i dont think someone who is new to a community can demand things in such a way, whereas someone who qualifies as a longtime member who contributes useful things does not always have to be polite (within reason). thats common in all communities, be it in real life or virtual places.

This is certainly an interesting opinion on matters large and small. Especially as uttered by a global moderator.

I have always thought that longer serving members of a community owe a special care to folks to be more polite than most. After all, they set the tone.

Being rude to newcomers is a great way of reducing a place to a rump of insiders.

Then again, as another newcomer, I may have misunderstood all this stuff.

I have been following this discussion because I wanted to get a feeling for the level of expertise you need. The learning curve is pretty steep. I have been looking for a true "idiot's guide". The FAQ and things are excellent, as is the case by case advice I have seen, but there still isn't something that I can find that matches, say, a Canon camera manual for simplicity. (No jokes please.)

A beginner might be a good person to try this task, but not if they are going to get shouted at by old hands who demand that the level of complexity stay high.
