I could produce one. But it's better if @nafraf owns this.  :)

Patch committed.  I think this port can be included in autobuild. Is there any other bug to fix?
If you wanted to post a test build from what is already posted in the SVN repository, I'm sure everyone would be fine with that.

Build attached.

I installed the alpha (ixus145_elph135-100c-1.5.0-4769-full.zip) on two ELPH 135 cameras ( I used STICK). I tried a few things on each (a script, Tv mode, OSD editor) and both work as expected.

The power button always starts the camera in review mode, regardless of long or short press. To enter record mode, I can press the shutter button. I had not encountered this before. Previously a long press on the power button started the camera in record mode.

It works fine, but is this a new thing or a broken thing?

Thanks,
Chris

@cfastie, thanks for testing.

Please test the version in attachment and report.

EDIT: Attachment deleted, port was added to autobuild.

Great, power-on is now back to normal. That last version (ixus145_elph135-100c-1.5.0-4770-full.zip) returns the power-on options to short press = play mode and long press = record mode. I tried a few other things on two cameras (ELPH 135 100c) and everything is working well. Let me know if there are other things to test.

Thanks,
Chris

Hello.

First of all, thanks a lot for porting chdk on this device.

I downloaded the latest compiled version on this thread.

Chdk seems to booting well when the SD card is write locked, but i cant use the firmware update option, beacause i dont have one !
So i dont know how to override the write protection...

Can you help me?

I suspect nafraf just didn't include the firmware update file in the test build.

If CHDK is running, you shouldn't need to do anything. Do you still see the"card locked" message after you start CHDK? Normally, CHDK makes the camera ignore the lock, so if you still see the message, there's a bug. The lock doesn't physically prevent the card from being written, it just tell the camera software what position the piece of plastic is in.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
