A720IS and a chdk Exposure Level Indicator

Found an old A720IS and it works fine. The only annoying thing is that unlike newer cameras it doesn't have the Exposure Level Indicator (see attached image).

Can chdk display a permanent Exposure Level Indicator for the A720IS like the one in the attached image?

There isn't anything that will show a meter like that, but something in CHDK Settings -> OSD Settings -> Miscellaneous Values might give you similar information. I think the Overexp value or Canon Overexp value are probably the closest.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Something like that exists in the CHDKplus.lua script :

See the "light meter" label. Note that there are several skins that are not as ugly as shown in this image.

Converting the meter part to a CHDK OSD icon is possible but will take a bit of work by someone.
