Downloading CHDK onto 256 GB card

Hi, I have been trying to download CHDK onto a 256 GB card. I tried doing so by creating dual partitions, as advised by in the installation manual. It said I downloaded it correctly, but when the SD card was put in the camera (in the locked position) it had only 81-83% of the module downloaded???, or in other words did not work. I have downloaded CHDK onto a 2GB SD card using SCRIPTS, and it worked, so I know when it works or installs correctly.

My question is: is it possible to download CHDK on such a large card? if so, how do you do so?

Other details, I am using a Powershot D30. I am also doing this with intent to use the script ultimate intervalometer.

Also, if this is impossible on such large card, what is the largest card possible one can use and how do you download it?

Hi jvall503 !
Your camera(D30) do not support dual partition CHDK booting. Reformat your SD card as FAT32 on your PC.

Tip of the day: Use Stick application to install CHDK on the sd card.

Would please provide a link to the manual that told you to do this? We have been cleaning up such outdated (and wrong) information wherever we can find it but there is a lot of it out there to find.
