I am trying to remotely control the camera and at the same time display the images in my laptop using the USB.

--i have tried to use the chdkptp gui but it does not detect the camera in chdk mode and causes an error if i tried in normal mode.

--i also use ptpCam gui and the result is the same,.

Have you installed the alternative USB driver 'LibUSB'?

,i have already installesd libusb it can detect the canon camera when the SD card is not lock but when i switch to chdk or i lock the card to boot chdk it disappears from the libusb by the way i am using windows 8.1 .,tnx for the response.

DO you have USB remote enabled in CHDK? USB remote must be off for PTP to work.
