I used Acid to download the files  (stable CHDK) and copied them to the base of the SD card - which is an Eye-Fi card.  It appeared to load OK but then I see an Error that there are missing modules.  I followed the instructions in a You Tube video by by BigNate84 (I think it is 84).

I can browse the menu but some things don't work, such as loading a script.

Should I download one of the other CHDK on the Acid check box menu?  I see that the version downloaded is very recent. Any suggestions as to what to do next?

TIA

This means that CHDK/MODULES does not have the correct files in it. Make sure you unzip the zip with sub-directories.

This could also happen if you made a multi-partition card and didn't get the files on the right partition (everything in the CHDK folder should go on the "large" partition), but SX40 should not require partitioning (and IIRC, Eye-Fi has problems if you parition)

Don't forget what the H stands for.
