I've checked the ACID and STICK tables and I can't find anything wrong. There is a separate zip file for the A3300 firmware 100c on the download site (may well be identical to the 100a zip though) and STICK and ACID should find it.

I don't have the camera and all the photos I can find on the web are for 100a, so I can't verify the problem you have. If you can email me a photo taken with your 100c I'll check things out.

I realized after the post that I did read something in the instructions about how to "update firmware"  I think I was going back in forth in my mind from working on getting the SD card bootable version to get the firmware dump loaded in my s95 and loading CHDK on the a3300.   

I tried loading the s95 with the 100e version, no go, but was easy enough to try.   back to the grind again for getting that disc ready to do the firmware dump.  will try with a fresh mind in the am... closing all the windows and tabs I have open.

Just to say that uanslob sent me a sample photo and STICK worked fine for me. Still investigating what went wrong at his end.
