I have an Canon A2200. When I insert the card with CHDK installed on it, then plug the usb cable from the camera to the Windows 7 computer, the computer does not see the camera.
I did not spot a setting in the CHDK menu, and I see PTP mentioned around. Do I need to install something else?
No. If you have activated USB remote in the CHDK menu (CHDK settings -> Remote parameters -> Enable remote), just disable it.
If that doesn't solve your problem, there may be a bug in the port. In that case, we'll need to know your camera's firmware version and the exact CHDK version you're using.
