Using wait_click() and is_key(), I can capture when a key pressed. However the "shoot_full" key, works as interrupt key for the scripts, so I can never detect that.

Is there a way of making another key the interrupt key?

Yes. See http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Script_commands#set_exit_key

The examples I posted in your other topic use this. In case you haven't already found it, http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_Scripting_Cross_Reference_Page is the most comprehensive list of script functions.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
