Hi, I'm trying to set up the simple OnePush usb remote for my PowerShot A480, but somehow the camera doesn't respond to both events of connecting/disconnecting the USB power in <ALT> mode using a USB charger, I expect that the camera should focus (press half) when I connect the USB power, a picture should be taken when I disconnect the USB charger (press full).

I am sure if I missed anything, do you have any ideas or know the cause of this? I'm attaching 2 pictures here (it seems I can only attach 2),

pic_1.jpg: here in the regular non-ALT mode, I can see the debug message "USB" prints the correct value either 0 or 1 when I disconnect or connect the USB power.

pic_2.jpg: in the ALT mode, nothing happens when USB power is connected, or disconnect.

Note that I've already set CHDK Settings -> Remote Parameters

1. Enable Remote [Enabled]
2. Switch Type [OnePush]
3. Control Mode [None]

My CHDK version is a480-100b-1.3.0-4161-full

try : Control Mode [Normal]

and you need to exit <ALT> and be in normal Canon shooting mode when you want to use the remote to actually take a picture.
