Hello everybody !
I'm sorry if it's not really the point of the forum but I'v asked on other forums and they couldn't give me a proper answer; and I'm convinced that people here have the knowledge about it .

So long story short at work I've got a FUJI HS50 and we use it as captor to see how phosphorescent paint react to various things.

Now what I really need to know is the raw value of each photosite (e.g. how much red has this pixel received) .

Right know I've got to the point where, thanks to dcraw (dcraw -v -D -j -T) , my image is like a grayscale and I can clearly see bayer-like filter.

My question is from here how can I retreive color value that were collected by the photosites ?

Again sorry if this is not the right place to post, I'll welcome any informations about where to ask.

maybe that's it, you are looking for.

In the bayer pattern is your information and you have to calculate out of the matrix what you get as a pixel in a jpg.

First of all thank you for your reply.

The site displays interesting informations and I will be using that .

But if I'm not mistaking it describes a post-traitment process of a RAW image in order to appear pleasant for the eye and so it disrupts captor data ?

Giving the Color Filter Array pattern and the "grayscale" like file that I get from DcRaw wouldn't I be able to know how much color has been absorbed ?
