Is it possible to add some basic commands to A3500IS?

Am especially interested in keeping some settings when turn off the camera.

For example Keeping Macro and Timer Settings.

Thanks

Ken

There is really no such thing as "adding some basic commands". Something like 90% of the work involved in making a CHDK port is getting the basic infrastructure running.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

So you want some of the Canon settings you make to extend past a power off/on cycle? AssumIng it's something CHDK can detect via a property  case value then it would not be difficult to add to  the core code.  The difficult part would be adding a UI to support all the possible options and combinations across all the cameras CHDK supports.
