Canon sx50

NOT ALWAYS - but sometimes, as I turned off my camera, pictures taken through CHDK [only] erased automatically  :(

Can you give more details about how you're using the camera? I assume you're not using CHDK RAW or DNG as that makes little sense on the sx50. Are you using a script?
Have you tried a different SD card? Did you try checking the card on a computer after the files disappeared (with a utility like chkdsk if you're using Windows)?

I am using RAW save
not using any extra script
these remain on card untill camera is on

Are you using Canon RAW save  or  CHDK RAW save ?

Do the JPG images remain on the camera or do they also erase?

When I use CHDK:
I used CHDK save RAW
NO JPG remains using CHDK [ they also erased along RAW ]

When not using CHDK :
canon Rawa and JPG [ they remain on card ]

Do you have missing JPG pictures when using CHDK if you don't use RAW?
