Hi everyone,

I have SX50HS with CHDK 1.3.0 rev. 4169.

The max shutter speed of SX50HS is 1/2000 or 0.0005. I thought that CHDK TV override will give me the option to have a faster shutter speed but it only allows me to enter 0.0010 or 1/1000 sec which is slower. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone in the community with SX50HS able to enter TV override less than 0.0010?

I'm looking at the CHDK Enhanced Photo Operations menu of my SX50hs right now.

If I set Override Tv type --> [ Ev Step ] then I can set EvStep Value [ * ]l1/100K] (with steps at 1/80000, 1//64000, 1/50000, 1/40000 etc).

If I set Override Tv type --> [ ShrtExp ] then I can set Short Exp.Value [ * ][ 0.00001]

Note : when you are entering ShrtExp values, the zoom level located at the camera's shutter button allows you to move the entry digit cursor to the left and right in the time value entry field.

What do you see when you try this?

Using the zoom lever to move the cursor to decimal place resolved my problem. There is more to explore in CHDK, I am excited.
