Adding Script

Hi, newbie here. I successfully loaded CHDK onto my A720 IS via STICK (worked perfect). Now I have a question prior to using a intervalometer script I downloaded. Do I just create a file name and put it in the scripts folder? If so, what should the file extension be?

Thanks for your help...Dan

Just put it in the CHDK/SCRIPTS folder on your SD card.  You can actually load a script from any folder but that one is the default.

The required file extension depends on the programming language in which the script is written.  If it is written in Lua then the file extension must be .lua and if it is written in uBASIC then any other extension will work, although typically .bas is used.
