CHDK on SX400?

I just realized that Canon  is still manufacturing a camera with a CCD -- the SX400.
This is great because with CMOS there's always the risk of "banding",  which I recently spotted in some of my photos that I took with a Sigma camera (CMOS sensor).
My question is, is the SX400 compatible with and properly supported by CHDK?

There is currently no support for CHDK on the SX400.  Or anybody working actively on a port AFAIK although there is a least one firmware dump available.

There was some work done here : inPhoto ID PS vs. CHDK which is a head start but a complete CHDK port has not been done.

Sadly nothing has changed since my post just before yours from last July.  And you need a port specifically for the firmware in your camera. Nothing else will work.
