The Tapatalk app on iPhones and Android is a convenient way to follow the CHDK forum (and others) on a mobile device. Unfortunately chunks of code inserted into posts using the [ code ] and [ /code ] markers do not render correctly. They look something like this on a mobile phone :

I contacted Tapatalk tech support and was told that the Tapatalk plugin configuration on the CHDK forum server needs some tweaks in now it handles customised BB codes.   More info about that here : Advanced Plugin Usage

I'm not sure who need what level of access to fix this so I thought I'd just post here and see what happens?

TIA

Hi,

Thanks for the heads up on this issue. Like I messaged you earlier, I'm looking into this as soon as I have the time.

Cheers!

I have speaking with tapatalk support and they haven't replied anything similar to what you mentioned earlier. The Advanced Settings "tweaks" they mentioned to you are actually not being parsed by Tapatalk apps and I have yet to get relevant info back from them.

While we're at this with Tapatalk, is anyone experiencing a "[...] stripThreadTags() [...]" error whenever browsing a forum board?
