Hi,
while reyalp is working on the dual partition feature for the G7x, it feels I am growing in need of a few frames for fixing the G7X in a specific position.
but the ones i found online are all marked for the G7x III and i'm guessing the dimensions are incompatible.

So that means designing it myself, I am thinking something like Recyclojunk64 build for his 3D rig: https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=14195.msg147882#msg147882
but i would prefer battery/sd card access, so that makes it a bit more fragile.

if you have suggestions or a technical drawing with exact dimensions, feel free to help me on my way.

I have cages for my r and M3, but for the G7X and G5X I use these http://www.hejnarphotostore.com/product-p/d038.htm

Although not a cage, it allows full access to the battery compartment.

since they don't ship to my country i'll use it as inspiration.

although made for the g7xII this is a helpfull example, i was thinking of creating a front with part of the lens cut out, but 2 notches might be enough to fix the cam in position.

I can confirm the D038 fits the mk 1 cams I mentioned.
