Are you trying to use chdkptp? In this case can you read memory(rmem) and see the correct file tree in the file tab?

no never tried to do that, looking into chdkptp right now

Links to pretty much all of the documentation about porting CHDK can be found on this wiki page in the section titled Common articles :

Sorry i'm french but i understand english
This is a very international forum.  We have members from all over the world.  English is the working language here but we always accommodate people who have English as their second, third or whatever language.  No problem.

Can someone show me how to start from the beginning
Before we try to give you more instructions, can you share your skill level?  Tell us what computer languages you know and what kinds of programming you have done.    Porting CHDK requires either some software experience  or a long slow learning process.

There is one CHDK port that was created by someone with a lot of time and energy but no programming skills.  However, the camera that was ported was very similar to several existing ports so the technical complexity was quite low.  And the end result was not really a good port.

The SX60 uses the new DIGIC6 processor.  So far there is only one Canon camera using that chip that has a CHDK port.  And that port was done by a very experienced CHDK developer and many months later it is still not really complete.   The tools and knowledge to easily port a DIGIC6 camera do not exist yet.  Porting the SX60 would be a difficult project today.

So I have to suggest that if you have no embedded software experience in ARM assembly language, along with considerable C experience, then it would be almost impossible for you to port the SX60.

Sorry.

Hello there is no new about the porting?  Iax whas starting but no new since his last message?  I really interesting about the sx 60 hs port… is it difficult to learn arm and c language?  If i try to learn it and understant it i can try to port chdk for it?  If you learn me exacly how to do it maybe i can understand?
