Hi nico2008,
I double checked with my SX60HS(100f) that the binary DISKBOOT.BIN which I uploaded works well for me. Anyone else with an SX60 got a comment about this?

Have you reinstalled all of CHDK or just DISKBOOT.BIN? Some significant changes were made to the CHDK gui interface that may not be compatible with legacy settings for CHDK.

Some things to try:
1. Remove the file A:/CHDK/CCHDK4.CFG and any other files like it ending in .CFG.

2. Try forcing PLAY mode with a long press of PLAY after it boots.

3. Also, try starting in playback mode using the PLAY button long press to start.

4.Finally, ensure that all of CHDK is refreshed when installing, not just DISKBOOT.BIN or A:

As you may recall, I've had several conversations with hacki (the host of the autobuild server) on IRC about download counts. I've never been able to get him interested in the subject, although for a few months several years ago he published data on general server access requests IIRC.

Well download counts do appear for attachments. At least on this thread for the author of an attachment. It would be useful to have such statistics so we can understand which ports are popular, which features deserve more effort, and probably several things we haven't even thought of yet.

I was taking about downloads from the autobuild not attachments here.  Counts are not available there.  I agree that knowing that imformation would be interesting.

I am sorry for my mistake.
 the camera is in playback mode after boot CHDK .
Short and long pressing PLAY gives nothing
I installed everything from CHDK several times. Did not help
In playback mode, pressing PLAY ... turns off the camera

In any case, remove cchdk4.cfg, and any other .cfg files in the CHDK folder because they will not be overwritten by a fresh install. 
When you press menu, what do you see?

Also, I trust you are not connecting the camera to an external display device like a tv?

I can only say that a fresh install on a formatted card should make the issue disappear.
I had one similar report here, but that user never came back.

If there are differences between cameras, perhaps a firmware dump from nico2008's camera could reveal something.

I suppose this could also be an issue with the particular SD card so using a different SD card might have some success?
