Ok found the link on the "clean canon overlays" forum
I 'll try that
If STICK works for you, that's the easiest way to install.

Hum, there is no PS.FI2 in the upload file....
The m3 says it needs a firmware on the card...

No, the M3 port does not support that starting method.
You need to use the "bootable SD card" method described here. STICK can help making a bootable card.

(Sorry for all this posts but i REALLY need to make it work not for recreative purposes.
This is vital for my work regarding to the actual situation)
With the downgrade 1.2.0 stick works nicely
I followed precisely instructions : all necessary files has been put on the card
But when i load it in the m3 and go to to firmware update page and i press ok, it say (in french) "a memory card containing the firmware is necessary" and nothing happens..
when i checked the card one more time, it appears that there is no PS.FI2 file..

Ok first experience Of bootable card
With stick : i did the process again (no option for creating a bootable part) so i consider it was ok cause it is the first method described "method one : using stick utility"
But it doesn't work again....
Nothing happens on My camera

To use the bootable card method, you need to lock the card with the plastic switch on its side. As described in this section:
https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Prepare_your_SD_card#Bootable_SD_Card_Method
Did you do that?

there is no PS.FI2 file with chdk version stick put on the card
The page on you link precises that in that case, there is only the "method 3" (eoscard)
that seems to work : problem ? : Eoscard app is only for windows.
Tried it with wine but nothing appears in the app window

When you put the locked card in camera and switch it on, you should see the red CHDK logo in the middle of screen for a few seconds.
If the card is not set up correctly, the camera will display "Card locked" or something similar.
What do you see?

Windows-based install apps will not work with wine (they can't access the card).
