Hi,
I have a IXUS157 here. Took it apart and the board is exactly that of the IXUS145.

But I didn't have luck dumping the firmware. Do you use the normal method with the dumper or do I need serial.

I'm just now trying to get the buspirate to give me the serial output, but only getting garbled bytes. Must find the right settings.

Any advice?

Yes!, now it worked.

Don't know why, but this time it worked with the dumper script.

I hope it has everything. Trying upload.

Ixus 157, 100b. Unsurprisingly, it's the same as the Ixus 155 (there was a 100b dump uploaded a while ago, but that file is missing the bootloader part).

Can you split all Ixus157 related posts from here to a new topic? Perhaps it will be better noticed.

And is it much different to the IXUS145? What I could see they both have the same mainboard, when searching for UART. I don't think I will start porting, from scratch. But if I could build on something I might give it a try.
